Job Title: LMS Specialist Needed to Build Employee Onboarding & Training Program Job Description: We’re looking for an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) expert to help us design and implement a scalable onboarding and training platform for new hires. This is a brand-new initiative, and we’re starting from the ground up—so we’re open to platform recommendations (e.g., TalentLMS, LearnUpon, Docebo, etc.). What We Need: The LMS should provide a seamless experience for new employees and independent contractors, guiding them through: ✅ General Onboarding Tasks: • Direct deposit and tax form setup (W-9, W-4, etc.) • Technology access setup (email, Slack, Zoom, etc.) • Laptop and equipment instructions • Security and compliance policies ✅ Company Orientation & Training: • Overview of our company, values, and team structure • Intro to our products, services, and market positioning • Key SOPs and operational workflows • Role-specific tools and systems • Points of contact and escalation procedures • Assessments/quizzes to validate understanding Ideal Candidate Has: • Proven experience selecting and implementing LMS platforms • Instructional design experience (can turn SOPs into digestible training) • Understanding of onboarding best practices for remote/hybrid teams • Ability to set up automation for self-guided learning • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Project Scope: • Recommend an LMS based on our needs and budget • Build the initial structure of the platform • Create or import training modules • Set up user roles and onboarding automation • Provide documentation and light training for our team
