Book Cover Designs Needed for a small women-owned publishing company
We are seeking a talented graphic designer to create a fresh new look for the front and back covers for a total of eight titles (printed 8 ½ x 11, spiral bound, no bleed). Seven of the books are part of a series and can share the same design, but with different colors (we have a palette of colors and fonts already). For these, we already have: A pretty good mock-up with most of the elements we’re looking for. It really needs a professional’s eye to make it polished and perfect and to walk us through the final steps of creating the back cover and titles for all seven. The file is in InDesign. We have a logo for the series, but you may want to tweak it to make it even better. The file is in Illustrator. The eighth title is a stand-alone book that needs to be captivating and inspirational, giving someone the confidence to write a play. The front and back cover must complement the interior design (a work in progress, an InDesign file). This is a trial project, and if we work together well, there is an opportunity to work with us on our future 40-page catalog.
