Experienced Software Tester Needed for Large IT Systems
**Job Description:** We are currently seeking a highly qualified Software Tester with extensive experience in large-scale IT systems, particularly in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or real estate facility management software. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, the identification of software defects, and the assurance of optimal software performance. Testing Experience: At least 5 years direct experience in testing Consumer Off The Shelf (COTS) products. 2. Testing Methodologies: Proficiency in software testing methodologies, such as test planning, test case design, and defect tracking. 3. Functional and Regression Testing: Ability to perform functional and regression testing, ensuring that customizations and updates do not introduce errors or disrupt existing functionality. 4. Data Validation: Experience validating data accuracy and completeness during testing, ensuring data integrity within TRIRIGA. 5. Documentation: Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create test plans, test scripts and cases, test results ge, User Stories, and User Story Acceptance Criteria in the form of Gherkin syntax. Experience using genAI to generate content for these documents is also essential. 6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with development, business, and IT teams. 7. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, allowing the tester to identify and report defects accurately and efficiently. 8. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing within Agile environments. 9. Testing Tools: Experience setting up, using, and administrating test tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Rational, Selenium 10. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring that testing is thorough and comprehensive. 11. Teaming: Personable, thoughtful, communicative, active participant with the rest of the team members.
