Senior UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer | Visual Workflow Builder for Parking Tech Startup

About ParkFlow ParkFlow is a VC-backed stealth startup working to transform the parking industry with a smart, modern platform, rethinking how parking operations work. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced front-end developer with strong design skills to take on a key role building our visual workflow builder/designer. This is the heart of our parking automation platform, where users will create parking and vehicle workflows using a drag-and-drop interface, customized for our industry (think n8n, but built for parking). If you have a passion for building and optimizing systems, and enjoy working on interesting and creative problems, we’d love to have you on board. What You’ll Do - Build the Workflow Builder: Design a visual editor with nodes, triggers, and connectors to automate parking workflows. - Create Smooth UI/UX: Add drag-and-drop features, responsive animations, and transitions that feel great to use. - Connect the Dots: Link the front-end interface to JSON logic powering the workflows. - Team Up: Work closely with us to tweak designs and incorporate feedback from user testing. Write Clean Code: Own the front-end architecture with reusable, high-quality code. - Solve Creatively: Tackle the unique challenges of visual programming with fresh, innovative ideas. What We’re Looking For - Experience: 5+ years building rich, interactive web apps as a front-end developer. - Design Skills: A sharp eye for UI/UX—think dashboards, complex apps, or interfaces that pop. - Workflow Know-How: Hands-on time with workflow editors, diagramming tools, or canvas/SVG drawing. - JSON Comfort: Ability to work with JSON and map user actions to data structures. - User-Focused: A mindset that goes beyond code to consider the people using it and the business it supports. - Remote Ready: Great communication and self-discipline for a remote-first team. - Education: No degree required—just bring your skills and experience. - Nice-to-Haves: Performance optimization chops, design tool experience, or parking industry knowledge.
