Contract fundraiser needed for capital campaign - Cape Cod environmental nonprofit
Job Description: Save Popponesset Bay (SPB) is seeking a motivated and passionate part-time Fundraising Coordinator to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan that supports SPB's Longer, Wider, Deeper Capital Campaign Project. This role involves strategic planning and donor engagement to raise awareness and funds for our conservation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: -Develop a detailed fundraising plan with clear goals and timelines. -Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and community partners. -Plan and execute fundraising efforts, including community outreach and online campaigns. -Create compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, newsletters, and social media content. -Monitor and report on fundraising progress, adjusting strategies as needed. Qualifications: -Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related field. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. -Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement. -Nice to have - familiar with Cape Cod and the communities of residents that live there.
