Seeking Licensed Structural Engineer (PE) for Residential & Commercial Projects in Arizona
Lewis and Smith Engineering, a Tucson-based civil engineering firm, is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer (PE) to support our residential and commercial projects on an as-needed basis. Requirements: Must be a licensed PE in Structural Engineering in Arizona (or able to obtain reciprocity). Experience with foundation design, retaining walls, load calculations, framing plans, and permitting requirements in AZ. Familiarity with local building codes (Marana, Pima, Oro Valley, Cochise, Maricopa counties or can learn). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, or similar structural analysis software. Work Scope: Provide structural calculations, designs, and stamped drawings. Review and approve plans for permit submission. Collaborate with our team remotely; site visits possible but not required. Engagement: Contract-based, as-needed work with flexible hours. Clear deliverables and deadlines with prompt communication.
