Data Visualization & Analytics Expert (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, AI)
Overview: We seek a skilled data visualization and analytics freelancer to support various client projects. This role requires Power BI and Tableau expertise, strong SQL and Python skills, and familiarity with AI-driven data solutions. Experience with Snowflake and Snowpark is highly preferred, as we work extensively with cloud-based data warehousing and advanced processing. The ideal candidate will have experience developing end-to-end data solutions, from data retrieval and transformation to insightful analysis, modeling, and reporting. This opportunity has the potential to become a long-term engagement (10-20 hours per week). Key Responsibilities: - Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau - Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis - Use Python and Snowpark to build data pipelines, perform transformations, and optimize data workflows - Work with Snowflake Data Warehouses - leveraging capabilities for storage, computation, and analytics - Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, AutoML) to enhance workflows and write code efficiently - Work with various data sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage) to clean, transform, and model data - Provide insightful analysis and recommendations based on data findings - Collaborate on ad-hoc data projects and optimize reporting solutions Ideal Candidate: - Proficiency in Power BI & Tableau, with experience creating dynamic dashboards - Strong SQL skills for querying, ETL processes, and database optimization - Experience with Snowflake, including writing queries, working with data pipelines, and optimizing storage & compute performance - Familiarity with Snowpark (Python or Java UDFs, stored procedures, and machine learning integration) - Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and visualization - Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools and their application in data workflows - Experience handling end-to-end data solutions (from data retrieval to actionable insights) - Ability to work independently and communicate findings effectively - Previous experience in freelance or remote data roles is a plus
