Title: Bookkeeper Needed for Jewelry Business (Shopify + Product-Based Accounting Experience Preferred) Description: I’m looking for a remote bookkeeper to support my growing jewelry brand, Periergos Creative, which includes both curated vintage pieces and original creations. This is a product-based business with inventory tracking, online sales (Shopify), and occasional auction/consignment purchases. What I’m Looking For: Experience with product-based or inventory-driven businesses Proficiency in QuickBooks (or can recommend/setup best platform) Comfortable working with Shopify integration Familiarity with tracking COGS, sales tax, and inventory movement Clean, regular reporting: monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow Optional: Familiarity with 1099 prep or working alongside tax professionals What You’ll Be Doing: Monthly reconciliation and categorization of expenses Organizing chart of accounts for both curated and original jewelry lines Providing financial reports and insights to support decision-making Setting up and streamlining systems for long-term growth Bonus Points If You: Have worked with fashion, art, or luxury goods businesses Understand the unique needs of a creative entrepreneur Are responsive, organized, and collaborative This is a part-time, hopefully ongoing role—ideally starting with a cleanup/setup phase and moving into monthly maintenance.
