We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Audio Editor/Producer to join our production team for a long-term collaboration. Your role will be to transform weekly Zoom interviews into clean, professional audio content for both radio and podcast audiences. About the Role: Each week, guest interviews and feature segments are recorded via Zoom on Tuesday mornings. The raw files, along with a written script, are saved to Dropbox. Your job is to produce and deliver final audio files by Thursday at 12:00 PM ET. Your Responsibilities: - Edit raw Zoom audio for quality and timing (remove background noise, clean up dialogue, fix audio levels, etc.) - Insert bumpers, stringers, music beds, pre-recorded commercials, and other branded elements - Ensure all content flows smoothly and maintains consistent sound quality Weekly Deliverables: - (4) individual segment files for the radio broadcast - (1) full-length podcast version (MP3) - (1) 15-second promo file **All files must be properly timed to fit the established show format and segment lengths Here’s what we’re looking for: - Proven experience editing audio for radio or podcast productions - Fast and efficient workflow with consistent turnaround times - Great ear for audio quality and attention to detail - Strong communication and comfort with deadlines Bonus points if you: - Have worked on interview-style shows - Understand pacing and structure for both radio and podcast formats - Are familiar with Dropbox, Zoom, and editing software like Audition, Pro Tools, or similar
