Coder-Coach Needed in Colorado (or Willing to Relocate) for our Youth NBA-Style Basketball Society

Hi, I’m a former professional basketball player and the founder of Limitless Hoops—a youth basketball program that’s grown into something much bigger. We’re not just running a league. We’re building a youth NBA-style society for kids ages 3 to 18. This includes: • Teams formed by personality types • A daily livestreamed basketball curriculum • Mascots, cheerleaders, and an eventual adult league • A current roster of 60 players, with the capacity for 3,000 across Aurora, Broomfield, Centennial, and Denver Here’s the thing: everything we’ve built so far was created by me—using Google Apps Script, basic web tools, and a lot of learning along the way. I love to code, but I’ve hit my ceiling. I need a partner with deeper experience to help elevate what we’ve built and bring it to the next level. And yes, you’ll also be coaching. This is not just a tech role—it’s a hybrid position for someone who can code and contribute on the court. ⸻ What You’ll Do (Tech Side): • Build a league scheduler where outside teams can book games in advance • Manage our tournament platform, including brackets, signups, and payments • Upgrade existing Google Apps Script tools (attendance, staff tracking, rankings) • Replace our current booking platform with a custom solution • Build mini-games (e.g., Pac-Man or Pong) themed around each team’s brand • Improve our website and help maintain livestream integration • Stay on retainer for ongoing improvements, maintenance, and innovation What You’ll Do (Coaching Side): • Coach youth practices on weeknights • Coach weekend games • Occasionally step in when another coach can’t make it • Contribute to player development with professional-level structure and creativity ⸻ You’re a Fit If You: • Live in Colorado or are willing to move here soon (housing available) • Have experience building real systems, not just MVPs • Can switch from JavaScript to jump shots without missing a beat • Enjoy working with kids and building something meaningful • Are ready to be a founding member of a long-term, culture-shifting program ⸻ Pay & Perks: • Up to $3,000/month • OR free housing + meals + stipend (if relocating and keeping expenses low) • Referral bonuses: • $100–$400 per player referred (based on membership length) • Bonuses for referring volunteers (limited spots per grade) • Ongoing retainer after initial build • Freedom to promote your own services to our growing member base • Access to work with future clients as we scale past 3,000 members • A front-row seat in building something that’s never been done before ⸻ Tech Stack: • Google Apps Script • HTML/CSS/JavaScript • PHP or Node.js • Firebase or similar DB (helpful but not required) • GitHub, Google Sheets integrations, and livestream tools Application Questions: 1.
