Power BI Pro Needed: Fix Master Date Logic + Clean Up Measures for Embedded Reports

The Job We need a Power BI expert to: Build / Fix Measures Re‑write current DAX so every metric ties back to one master Date table. Make sure compare‑type measures (YoY, Preceding Period, etc.) still work when the master date is driven by the SDK filter. Set Up Master Date Slicer Logic One Date table that controls all pages and visuals. All fact tables use that Date key (no time‑stamp mismatch). Must work with Power BI Embedded when we pass date and compare params from the Vue front end. Validate in Embedded Mode Show the report in an embed token test page and prove the slicer changes via the SDK drive every visual. Document Your Work Short write‑up or Loom video: model layout, key DAX patterns, and how the SDK filters should be called. Bonus: If you have design chops, we’ll loop you back in later to polish visuals (themes, layout, etc.). That is not part of this job but good to know. Must‑Have Skills Deep Power BI and DAX experience Solid data‑modeling (star schema, Date tables, relationships) Power BI Embedded / JS SDK know‑how Report design and theming Deliverables Updated .pbix (or Power BI Desktop file) with working measures and master Date setup Proof it works with SDK filters (code sample or demo page) Important: If you have never fixed Date logic for Power BI Embedded, please don’t apply—this will be a short partnership.
