Graphic Designer Needed for Vintage-Style Airport Logo/Badge Designs for Merch

Looking for a graphic designer to create 15–20 logo, badge, or patch-style designs for merchandise. These designs will represent various small, rural airports—many of which have rich histories and vintage charm. Design Style & Requirements: Vintage-inspired aesthetic—think nostalgic and timeless rather than sleek or modern. Each design should include easily editable text, so I can reuse a single design template across different airport names. Warped or manipulated text won't work well. Incorporate minimalist design elements—graphics are okay but should not feel cheesy or overly cartoonish. Avoid typical airplane or control tower icons unless they are subtle and minimal. One key element I’d like to see is a runway from an aerial view, depicted as an offset trapezoid to suggest perspective. Designs should be suitable for use on merchandise (t-shirts, patches, stickers, hats, etc.). Bonus if you have experience with: Aviation-related design work Creating badge/logo systems with editable components Understanding vintage Americana or rural signage design styles Deliverables: 15–20 editable logo/badge/patch-style designs in vector format (AI or SVG) Fonts used (preferably free for commercial use) Optional: Mockups on merchandise for presentation Please include examples of relevant past work, especially anything that reflects vintage logo design, aviation, or merch-focused design systems. Looking forward to collaborating with someone who shares a love for clean design with a nod to aviation history.
