Experienced Data Engineer Needed for End-to-End Data Pipeline & Power BI Integration
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and implement a complete data pipeline. This system will be responsible for collecting, storing, processing, cleaning (ETL), and visualizing data in Power BI while ensuring row-level security for user access control. This is a crucial project that will enable us to efficiently manage our data, generate insights, and improve decision-making through dashboards. Project Scope & Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be responsible for: ✅ Data Collection: Setting up pipelines to pull data from various sources (APIs, databases, files, etc.). ✅ Data Storage: Implementing a robust and scalable data warehouse solution. ✅ ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Cleaning and structuring the data for reporting and analytics. ✅ Integration with Power BI: Ensuring seamless data flow into Power BI for dashboard visualization. ✅ Row-Level Security (RLS): Implementing proper access control to restrict data visibility based on roles. ✅ Dashboard Development: Building interactive, insightful, and visually appealing dashboards in Power BI. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a Data Engineer with: ✅ Strong experience in data architecture, ETL, and data pipeline development ✅ Proficiency with cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others) ✅ Expertise in SQL and data modeling for analytics ✅ Experience with Power BI, including DAX and Row-Level Security (RLS) ✅ Ability to implement scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions Success Criteria: For this project to be successful, we expect: A fully functional data pipeline that automates data collection, processing, and storage. Data is cleaned and structured to be efficiently used in Power BI. Row-level security is properly implemented to restrict data access based on user roles. Dashboards are built with meaningful insights and visualizations. The system is scalable and well-documented for future improvements.
