Part-Time Web & App Updates + Data Entry Assistant (5-10 Hours/Week) Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy freelancer to assist with website and app updates, data entry, and general content management for an upcoming large-scale event. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working within CMS platforms and app management systems. Responsibilities: • Update website content (text, images, schedules, FAQs, etc.) using a CMS. • Assist with app content updates, including event details, speaker information, and schedule changes. • Perform data entry tasks to ensure all event-related information is accurate and up to date. • Test website and app updates to ensure accuracy and functionality. • Collaborate with the team to implement minor design/content tweaks as needed. • Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate larger issues to the development team. • Ensure content is formatted properly for a seamless user experience. Requirements: • Experience working with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar). • Familiarity with app management systems (experience with Aloompa is a plus). • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully. • Ability to complete data entry tasks efficiently and accurately. • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus but not required. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. • Experience in event-related websites/apps is a bonus. Time Commitment: • 5-10hours per week (with potential for more hours as the event approaches). • Must be available for quick updates when necessary. Budget: • Hourly rate based on experience.
