Description: Our WordPress site was recently hit with a malware or content injection attack — a completely unrelated product listing (in Japanese, promoting an anime poster) appeared on our site and is now indexed on Google. This was not added by anyone on our team, and our internal dev suspects it came from an outdated plugin vulnerability. We’ve already: Scanned for malware Updated most plugins Resubmitted the sitemap to Google Removed the visible content But we are not confident the root cause has been fully resolved.
