WordPress Website Development and Migration Expert Needed
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a new website using our provided design and migrate all pages from our existing site to the new platform. As part of this project, the developer will need to scrape content and images from the live site, as we cannot provide direct access to it. Scope of Work: Website Development: 1. Build a WordPress website based on the design files provided by us. 2. Ensure the website is responsive, fast, and compatible across all major browsers and devices. 3. Implement best practices for performance, accessibility, and security. Content and Image Migration: 1. Scrape all necessary content, images, and assets from the live site, as access will not be provided. 2. Recreate and migrate all pages while maintaining or enhancing the SEO structure, including metadata, internal links, and URL consistency. Additional Tasks: 1. Set up essential WordPress plugins and integrations to match the functionality of the current site. 2. Ensure the website includes a user-friendly CMS for easy future updates. Requirements: 1. Extensive experience with WordPress website development. 2. Proven track record of website migration projects, especially those involving content scraping. 3. Strong understanding of SEO and how to retain rankings during migration. 3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 5. Excellent communication and project management skills. Deliverables: 1. A fully functional WordPress website built based on the provided design. 1. All pages, content, and assets successfully migrated to the new site. 3.
