Detail-oriented WordPress developer with WordPress themes and plugins. Well versed in PHP Programming Language and HTML, CSS along with knowledge of JavaScript and Ajax. Delivers well-made projects within deadlines. His Core Skills include WordPress Theme and Plugin Development. I'm looking for a reliable and skilled WordPress backend developer based in the USA to help with ongoing projects. This is a freelance/contract role with potential for long-term collaboration. Our custom made sign editor needs some updates that we have learned is more attractive for the end user. We want them to have the ability to add their own fonts easily, add new clip art such as png, and more. Expect talent: 1. Proven experience in WordPress theme/plugin development 2. Strong command of PHP 8.2+, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript 3. Familiarity with Gutenberg blocks and/or custom block development 4. Experience with WP REST API Integration 5. Knowledge of Git version control 6. Experience using WP-CLI, Composer and local development tools 7. Ability to write clean, secure optimized plugins following WordPress Coding Standards and leveraging hooks (actions and filters). Bonus: 1. Experience with WooCommerce 2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines 3. Understanding of WordPress security best practices 4. Ability to work in a Headless WordPress setup 5. Using Composer to manage PHP dependencies 6.
