Media Company Seeks WordPress Site Developer with Cybersecurity Expertise

Media Web Developer The NorthStar Group is seeking a dynamic and highly competent Web Developer with significant experience in media publishing who will enhance and maintain our WordPress media websites and provide proven capabilities to work with cross- functional teams, third-party vendors, while meeting all project deadlines. Will develop company website(s), optimize SEO for marketing promotional and informational purposes and address cybersecurity threats . Will ensure that NorthStar’s websites are safe, easy to navigate and address the overall needs of their audience. Key Qualifications Must have 3+ years’ experience in WordPress field. Must have coding experience in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Python and/or Swift.  Experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 with WordPress websites.  Proficiency in building web-enabled database applications using ASP, .Net, java script, XHTML, CSS, PHP, and XML based web services.  Very good understanding of WordPress site content creation and maintenance.  The ability to create and revise WordPress and HTML pages; prepare digital images, slide shows, videos and other medias and posts to web server in a timely manner. Expertise in cybersecurity issues as they apply to the WordPress platform  Develop end users’ documentation, including application training manual and workflows.  Manage all software testing and systems updates in conformity with change management policies.  Familiarity with content streaming-based systems and websites  Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics with a view of driving progress and continuance improvement.  Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.  Online marketing and SEO skills.  Knowledge of IT security best practices.  Able to successfully work under deadline pressure and meet goals.  Strong ability to juggle multiple assignments accurately and prioritize key deliverables. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Facilitate web content for informational, promotional and marketing strategies. · Work with management personnel to develop and implement strategic plans for agency’s websites and online content; present timely progress reports on the implementation of strategic plans to all key stakeholders. · Ensure all changes to the websites follow the company’s management process and seeks approval from key stakeholders, reviewing websites statistics to determine health and growth. · Manage, utilize and advise colleagues on the use of external web tools, platforms and services. · Work closely with vendors to ensure all deliverables are met and strategic goals executed. · Research emerging technologies and services that may enhance the web experience and make recommendations to management team.
