Automation Consultant Needed - Experience Wanted with Make.com
HI! We are an organization that connects companies, non-profits, and schools around meaningful projects so that we can provide every student access to invaluable internship opportunities. Description: We’re seeking an experienced automation consultant who not only knows how to build great Make.com (formerly Integromat) automations—but can also teach us how to do it ourselves. About Us: We’re a growing education startup looking to streamline operations and scale our impact. We want to automate key business processes across tools like Airtable, Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, Calendly, and HubSpot—but also build the internal knowledge to manage and adapt these systems ourselves. What We’re Looking For: You’ll serve as both a consultant and a coach—someone who can: Audit our current workflows and recommend smart automation opportunities Build automations using Make.com that help with lead gen, CRM syncing, onboarding, document generation, and internal notifications Coach us through your approach, explaining how you built each automation and how we can maintain or adapt it later Create simple documentation or loom videos to help us retain what we’ve learned Answer questions and help us troubleshoot as we build our own flows Initial Scope: We would like to have a brief 20 minute call to interview you and see if your skills are a good fit because we intend to hire an automation consultant for many projects this year. The first project will be a small 2–3 hour automation to document proposals quickly instead of us doing repetitive manual work. We’d like you to build it and teach us what you’re doing along the way. If it’s a good fit, we’re open to an ongoing relationship for future projects. Ideal Candidate: Proficient in Make.com with a portfolio of past projects Comfortable teaching and explaining your process to non-technical users Strong communicator who enjoys empowering others Familiar with Airtable, Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, and similar tools Available to collaborate over the next few weeks, with the potential for more To Apply: Please include: A quick intro and why you're a good fit for both building and coaching Examples of Make.com automations you’ve built Your hourly rate and availability Any experience teaching or training others—always a plus!
