Courtside Video Entertainment, manufacturer of a specialty, court-embedded video display system for professional and collegiate basketball teams, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead development on our next generation product. We are seeking a Sr Software Developer to architect and implement an image and video distribution system that can receive video from multiple sources, digitize this content, and distribute it to other servers on a subnet, which will then forward the content to our product. ** Required Skills ** - Extensive experience in embedded Linux application coding, including driver development - Advanced knowledge of high-speed networking, including QOS and HSR/PRP protocols - Experience writing applications that utilize the Blackmagic Design SDK (DeckLink 8K Pro G2) ** Additional Details** - The applications will be coded in C and Java. - Some front-end development will be required for status monitoring. - Due to the high-profile nature of the application, code must be testable, robust, and highly reliable. - The candidate will collaborate closely with two other software developers to reach consensus on architectural and performance concerns. - The ideal candidate will have the ability to make quick decisions and solve challenging problems in a fast-paced, startup environment.
