Legal Review for AI-Powered Ecommerce SaaS (GDPR/TCPA/CCPA Compliance)
We are building a privacy-first, AI-powered ecommerce SaaS called ReCartly.ai that helps Shopify merchants recover abandoned checkouts using automated voice calls, SMS, and email — only after proper consent is received. We're looking for a legal expert in regulatory law, data privacy, and tech/SaaS to review our Legal Infrastructure Pack and ensure full compliance with: GDPR (EU) CCPA (California) TCPA (U.S. voice/SMS marketing) Shopify App Store requirements This project is not generic legal writing — we’ve already prepared a robust legal review document that includes: Privacy policy clauses Cookie banner copy Voice/SMS opt-in UX Consent tracking architecture Data flow diagrams Risk mitigation matrix App permission scopes Data retention policy Your job will be to review, verify, and improve these items where necessary. What we need from you: Feedback on compliance across all key legal jurisdictions Redlines or edits on policy language, cookie, and opt-in copy Review of consent and retention logging system Optional but preferred: short legal memo or 1-pager confirming compliance as designed. This will be used for internal investor documentation. Preferred turnaround: 7–10 business days from assignment (sooner is great). Documents provided as: PDF and Notion — can switch to Google Docs if preferred for collaboration/redlining.
