Job Title: Public Relations Manager Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid) Reports To: Head of Marketing About Lemonlight: Lemonlight is a leading video production company powering thousands of campaigns for the world’s top brands, platforms, and agencies. With 10,000+ creators across 100+ markets and an AI-powered production platform, we help clients scale high-quality content faster and more cost-effectively than ever before. Role Overview: We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Public Relations Manager to elevate Lemonlight’s industry presence through award submissions, speaker placements, press features, and more. This role will play a critical part in positioning our brand and leadership team at the forefront of the video production, media, and marketing space. Key Responsibilities: - Awards & Recognition: Identify, prioritize, and manage submissions for relevant industry awards across advertising, tech, and media. - Speaking Engagements: Secure thought leadership opportunities at major conferences and events (e.g., Cannes Lions, Amazon Unboxed, Shoptalk). - Press & Media: Pitch and place stories in relevant trade and business publications; manage press releases and media kits. - Podcasts & Interviews: Coordinate podcast appearances and interview opportunities for key Lemonlight leaders. - Earned Media Strategy: Develop and execute a PR calendar aligned with company milestones, product launches, and partnerships. - Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with journalists, podcast producers, event organizers, and PR partners. Qualifications: * 4+ years in public relations, communications, or related field—agency or in-house. * Proven success securing media placements, awards, and speaking roles. * Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches and submissions. * Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. * Familiarity with media tracking tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision) and event databases. Nice to Have: * Experience in adtech, martech, or creative production. * Existing media relationships in the advertising or marketing space. * Comfortable representing the brand externally, if needed.
