Business Valuation & Partner Buy-In Consultant Needed

I'm a business owner (owner of public speaking training company) looking to bring on a new partner into the firm. To make this happen smoothly and fairly, I need support in determining how to best calculate the buy-in amount and structure. I'm looking for an experienced consultant who can guide me through this process and provide expert advice on: Business valuation approaches suitable for small businesses Determining a fair and strategic buy-in amount for the incoming partner Structuring the buy-in (e.g., lump sum, equity share, vesting, etc.) Legal/financial considerations and potential risks or benefits Optional: drafting or reviewing a partnership agreement (if you have legal expertise) What I’m Looking For: Experience in business valuations, especially for small or service-based businesses Understanding of partnership structures and financial modeling Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts in simple terms Ability to collaborate closely and answer questions throughout the process Nice to Have: Experience with U.S.-based businesses Legal background or ability to work alongside legal counsel Familiarity with partnership agreements and buy-sell agreements Project Scope: I’d like to start with a consultation to discuss the business and potential partnership, then move into the valuation and buy-in strategy.
