Part-time Attorney Familiar with New Jersey Litigation
I am seeking a contract attorney who is knowledgeable in New Jersey law to provide assistance with litigation matters as needed, as well as ongoing business related services. The ideal candidate must have experience drafting legal documents including letters, motions and pleadings consistent with New Jersey law, legal research, and assisting with preparing for depositions and trials as needed. This role requires prompt communication and strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently after consulting on the scope of the project. This is a part-time gig perfect for someone looking for approximately 5-10 hours per week to supplement their current income, understanding that some weeks may have limited work and others may have more. Since I understand that this is a part-time limited position, I will always ask whether you can handle a particular assignment by a certain deadline before it is assigned, but once accepted I will expected that the work will be done by deadline date. The goal is to find someone to build a relationship with on an ongoing basis so the better the communication and the work product provided, the more likely that more work will follow. I will also consider a paralegal but only if they have the skill sets described herein.
