Healthcare Startup Attorney, Contract Work (US-Based Preferred)
→ The Company Birthkind is a concierge platform supporting reproductive health providers and families during the perinatal journey. We focus on helping doulas, advocates, and growing families access streamlined, evidence-informed support and education. Our most exciting fact? We're building a new model of collaborative, family-centered care that bridges modern business support with timeless community values. → The Job We need your help drafting two high-quality, legally sound contracts: • A contract that governs the relationship between our brand and doula advocates (independent contractors). • A contract template doulas can use directly with their clients (families seeking care). We already have detailed outlines and examples ready. You'll be responsible for turning them into formal legal agreements that are enforceable, professional, and protect both parties fairly. Healthcare and HIPAA experience is a huge plus. → The Stack / The Tools You must be highly experienced with: • U.S. healthcare law (including HIPAA considerations) • Independent contractor agreements • Client service agreements • Startup-friendly legal frameworks → Collaborators You'll work directly with our founder (a long-time advocate and entrepreneur in the perinatal space) and our small but mighty team building Birthkind from the ground up.
