We are seeking a talented and experienced curriculum designer to help create and transfer activities into our established templates for the Camp Champions 2025 Summer Program. This program offers youth the opportunity to explore four entrepreneurial pathways: Culinary Arts, The Arts (Theater, Music, Dance, Drama, etc.), Sports, and STEAM, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and life skills. The curriculum needs to be tailored to engage K-8th grade students, with activities appropriate for younger participants, while also challenging older students (grades 5 and up). Key Responsibilities: Transfer activities and curriculum into our existing templates for 10 Champ Challenges, 10 Themed Week Activities, and 10 Entrepreneurship/Business Planning Activities. Ensure that the curriculum is appropriate for K-8th grade students by adapting the same activities to be more challenging for 5th grade and up, while simplifying them for younger students (K-4th). Develop 10 Champ Challenges focused on weekly themes, ensuring they are game-based and engaging for the students. Create 10 Themed Week Activities aligned with each pathway, ensuring they tie directly into the respective fields (Culinary Arts, The Arts, Sports, and STEAM). Develop 10 Entrepreneurship/Business Planning Activities that guide students through creating their business ideas and products. This will include activities on budgeting and purchasing materials. We will allow 6 groups or businesses to be created during the program. There's 30 students per site. Important Notes: On July 28th - 31st, the entrepreneurship activities will focus on budgeting to purchase materials, where each group will have $100 to purchase materials for their business. These materials are due by Wednesday, July 30th. During the last week of camp (August 4-7th), students will host planning days on Monday and Tuesday (product prep, name tags, etc.) and pop-up shop day on Wednesday, August 6th. Provide detailed lesson plans and facilitator guides for each activity, ensuring clarity for staff in delivering the curriculum. Create daily schedules aligned with the attached camp timetable, which balances educational content, recreational activities, and entrepreneurship exercises. Required Skills: Proven experience in curriculum design for youth programs, especially for elementary and middle school students. Experience with designing entrepreneurial activities and integrating business planning into youth programs. Ability to adapt activities for different age groups, making them accessible for younger students and challenging for older ones. Strong organizational skills to develop clear, actionable lesson plans and activity guides. Familiarity with youth engagement strategies and creating activities that are both educational and fun. Preferred Skills: Background in youth development, entrepreneurship, or education. Experience working with K-8th grade students and tailoring activities to a broad age range. Ability to collaborate with a team to ensure the curriculum is well-integrated with the camp's goals and daily schedule. Timeline: We are looking to have the curriculum completed by May 23, 2025 with ongoing collaboration until the curriculum is fully implemented. This project will require communication and collaboration with our team to ensure all activities align with the camp’s goals and structure. Budget: $1,600
