Instructional Designer: HTML Content Editing

Lab-Aids is manufacturer and distributor of science and math education curriculum located in New York. We have a middle school science program that needs to be edited for a state-specific edition. The work involves removing select language, updating curriculum standards/references, updating deep links, etc. • All content to be edited is in HTML, but only a basic understanding of HTML is required. All required changes are spread over a variety of sources, including documents/PDFs, spreadsheets, and other generic instructions. • This project will require you to edit HTML files in Visual Studio Code. The contractor will follow instructions to make edits to HTML files from various sources. The majority of edits are changing content within existing HTML opening and closing tags. Editing HTML tables will be required, including removing rows/columns, and making extensive content edits to specific cells. • This job will require basic proficiency with the following software / applications: Visual Studio Code, Adobe Reacher/Acrobat, MS Office, and Google Spreadsheets. • Attention to detail when making edits, particularly within HTML, is required to preserve specific capitalization, font style, and layout. • The entire project is estimated to be completed in 10-20 hours. We are aiming to have this work completed by late-March 2025. • Although the project is limited in scope, there does exist other similar projects that could be completed immediately after. • You will work with a small team of 2-3 people that can provide any immediate assistance needed. Team members have already completed similar work and understand the scope and specific steps to complete this project. Weekly check-ins are required, but much of the work can be completed independently.
