Florida-Based Tax Pro & Accountant Needed for Marketing Agency
We are a newly established marketing agency LLC (registered January 2024) that has elected to be taxed as an S Corporation. We are seeking an experienced Florida-based tax professional and accountant to handle both our first tax filing and to resolve ongoing QuickBooks issues. It's critical you have a deep understanding of LLC taxation, S Corp election benefits, and QuickBooks, specifically within the context of a marketing agency. Scope of Work: - Review and correct QuickBooks records, categorizing expenses, income, and ensuring accuracy - Prepare and file our LLC's (S Corp elected) 2024 tax return (and personal taxes) - Provide guidance on maximizing tax benefits and optimizing our tax strategy moving forward - Assist with ensuring compliance with IRS and Florida state tax requirements Requirements: - Proven experience working with LLCs and S Corps - Expertise in QuickBooks, including resolving common errors and maintaining accurate financial records - Strong understanding of tax optimization strategies for small businesses, particularly marketing agencies - CPA certification or similar qualification preferred - Excellent communication and ability to explain complex tax matters clearly Preferred Experience: - Specialized knowledge of LLCs filing as Subchapter S Corporations - Experience working specifically with service-based, consulting, or marketing businesses Deliverables: - Corrected and accurate QuickBooks financial records - Completed and submitted federal and Florida state tax returns for LLC (S Corp elected) Timeline: Immediate start required due to upcoming tax filing deadline.
