The Role: We’re looking for a part-time Hiring & Candidate Operations Lead to help us build and manage a high-quality talent pipeline. This is NOT a corporate recruiter role. You won’t be scheduling back-to-back calls or doing 40-hour weeks. Instead, you’ll: Oversee the candidate pipeline for all active roles Screen applicants using templates + custom filters Run basic intro messages/interactions to vet for fit Assign trial tasks and track responses Prep top candidates for final interviews with our founder Ensure smooth transitions into onboarding (e.g., tool invites, SOP access, team handoff) What You’ll Actually Do: Check candidate pipeline 1–2x per day Filter out weak applications quickly Send screening questions or test tasks (we provide templates) Organize candidate info in Notion + tag team when needed Follow up with candidates and track timelines Coordinate the “handoff” once a hire is made (Tool access, intro message, etc) Required skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through Friendly but efficient communicator Confidence making decisions based on templates, SOPs, or good judgment Prior experience in hiring/recruiting or operations/project coordination Hours & Pay: ~5–10 hrs/week to start Flexible schedule, but must check in daily (especially M–F mornings PST) Paid weekly or biweekly Potential to grow into larger People Ops role if interested
