Conference & Event Strategist for Medical Services Company

We are looking for an experienced conference and event strategist to help a medical courier service identify, plan, and maximize their presence at key industry events. Dream candidate would have managed events/conferences for another medical services companies at hospital, laboratory, etc. conferences, familiar with which conferences deal with the right ICP, etc. Core Responsibilities: ✅ Event Research & Evaluation: - Assess 10-15 relevant conferences to identify high-impact opportunities - Evaluate sponsorship and exhibitor options, ensuring which allow supplier and if ROI justifies spend - Shortlist top 3-5 events for immediate activation and track others for future cycles ✅ Event Preparation & Execution: - Coordinate booth design, branded collateral, and lead capture processes (esp. if just attending, not sponsoring) - Support speaker and panel preparation to align with company messaging (if applicable, more likely booths) - Facilitate sponsor/partner co-branding and hospitality opportunities (private dinners, receptions, etc.) ✅ Optional: Pre- & Post-Event Engagement - Pre-event: Build targeted lead lists, outreach via email/LinkedIn, engage key attendees. - Post-event: Run structured follow-up campaigns and assess event ROI to refine future strategies. Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience managing event strategy and logistics for medical service providers (e.g., hospitals, laboratories, reference labs) * Familiarity with conferences like the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) or similar industry events * Ability to recommend which events to prioritize and assess potential ROI Bonus if you have experience with: * Lead generation and pre-event outreach * Post-event follow-up and analytics
