TRI312 Social Media Intern - Chicagoland Triathlon Community About TRI312 : We're an enthusiastic new social media group based in Chicago, dedicated to connecting and empowering the vibrant triathlon community across the Chicagoland area. Our goal is to be the go-to source for local triathletes, offering engaging content, training tips, event updates, and a supportive community forum. We're building our presence across various platforms and are looking for a creative and driven intern to help us amplify our message! About the Role: We're seeking a motivated Social Media Intern to help us develop and schedule engaging content that resonates with triathletes in and around Chicago. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community building within a niche sports market. You'll have the chance to shape our online presence and connect with passionate athletes. Responsibilities: Assist in the development and execution of a social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). Help create visually appealing and informative content, including graphics, short videos, and engaging captions. Contribute to the planning and scheduling of YouTube video content. Research relevant topics, trends, and influencers within the local triathlon scene. Engage with followers and participate in relevant online conversations to build community. Track and analyze social media performance to identify areas for improvement. Assist with other marketing and communication tasks as needed. Qualifications: Strong interest in social media and a solid understanding of various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creativity and an eye for visual content. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Familiarity with the Chicagoland area is a plus. Passion for triathlon or endurance sports is a bonus! Time Commitment & Compensation:
