Advanced Custom Fields Expert: Build Complex CPT with Spreadsheet-Driven Content
We’re looking for a skilled WordPress developer to build a new custom post type that will be used to display structured reference-style content. The data varies in complexity—some fields will be simple label/value pairs, while others will include dynamic tables or grouped data that can differ in structure between posts. We are using Advanced Custom Fields Pro (ACF) to manage the field data and are open to using tools like WP All Import Pro (with the ACF add-on) or other solutions you recommend to allow us to import post data directly from a spreadsheet. This will allow us to maintain and update content more efficiently without needing to manually edit posts in the WordPress dashboard. The ideal solution will allow us to: - Populate custom post types from a spreadsheet (CSV or XLSX) - Handle both simple fields (e.g., numeric or text values) and more complex fields (e.g., flexible sections or repeaters) - Support variable content structures across different posts (e.g., tables with differing numbers of rows/columns) - Display this data in a well-structured, styled template on the front end - Enable easy future updates via revised spreadsheet imports - We are open to your recommendations on the best field structure and import process, and we are seeking a developer who can both execute and advise.
