Note: The attached design brief describes the webtool's functionality and scope. Please skim through to the end before responding to this Job Post. --------------------------------- At AeroSleuth, we’re building a cutting-edge webtool to empower aviation professionals by transforming complex FAA certification and aircraft registration data into simple, actionable insights. We’re seeking a skilled UI/UX designer to create a comprehensive Figma file that brings our vision to life with a functional minimalist aesthetic inspired by Uber, with functionality and aesthetics inspired by Zillow, Carvana, and FullContact. Expertise in crafting intuitive, data-driven interfaces would make you a perfect fit for this project. Project Overview The AeroSleuth Webtool includes a landing page, a search page, a 'toolbelt' feature for navigation through the various features of the site, and detailed pages for certifications, aircraft registrations, and corporation data. Key features include, map/list views for filtered results, comparison tools, and export functionality. The design must prioritize clarity, scannability and a professional yet approachable aesthetic, aligning with our mission of “Bringing Clarity to Complexity.” Scope of Work We need a Figma file encompassing: Wireframes: Low-fidelity layouts for all key pages and components, including: Landing Page (Desktop + Mobile) Login Page (Desktop + Mobile) Search Page (Desktop + Mobile, with tabs for Name, Phone, Address, N-Number, Registered Owner) Record Results Page (Desktop + Mobile, with tabbed Certification, Aircraft, and Corporation Matches) Detail Pages (Individuals for Certifications, Individuals for Aircraft, Corporations for Aircraft) Filter Tool Page (Map/List View) Compare Tool (Overlay Dialogue Box) Saved Search/Saved Lists (Dialogue Box) Apply Here and Contact Us Pages High-Fidelity Mockups: Pixel-perfect designs for the above, reflecting a minimalist aesthetic: Neutral color palette (whites, grays, soft blues) with aviation-themed accents (e.g., sky blue CTAs). Clean sans-serif typography (e.g., Roboto, Open Sans, Neue Haas) with generous spacing. Card-based layouts for results, accordion/tiles for multi-record displays, and fluid microinteractions (e.g., hover effects, tab transitions). Design System: A Figma component library including buttons, icons (e.g., 4-icon toolbelt), form fields, tabs, cards, and map pins, ensuring consistency across pages. Responsive Design: Mobile-specific layouts for Landing, Login, Search, and Results pages, with large touch targets and minimal scrolling. Prototyping: Basic Figma prototypes to demonstrate key interactions (e.g., toolbelt navigation, tab switching, map/list toggle, compare overlay). Deliverables: A single Figma file with organized artboards for wireframes, mockups, and the design system. A brief style guide (in Figma or PDF) documenting colors, typography, and component usage. One round of revisions based on feedback. Timeline & Budget Timeline: The attached Design brief details this portion on the last slide. Budget: We’re open to discussing fixed-price or hourly rates based on your expertise. What We’re Looking For Proven experience designing data-driven SaaS platforms, ideally with Zillow-like map views, Carvana-style fluidity, or FullContact-inspired data summaries. Strong Figma proficiency, with a portfolio showcasing minimalist, responsive designs and interactive prototypes. Ability to translate complex requirements (e.g., inter-dataset matches, ADS-B data displays) into intuitive interfaces. Bonus: Experience with aviation or large dataset interfaces, though not required. Why Work with AeroSleuth? This project offers a chance to shape a transformative tool for aviation professionals, with creative freedom to craft a sleek, modern interface. We’re a collaborative team, providing clear feedback and a detailed design guide to streamline your work. Your Figma file will lay the foundation for a platform that simplifies complex data for thousands of users. Next Steps: Please browse through the design brief to the end before responding so I can evaluate your level of attention to detail. The next steps will include an interview to see if we are a good fit so you only need to respond with questions for your own clarity or let us know that you understand the requirements and are willing to meet. Feel free to share your portfolio, ideally highlighting SaaS or data-driven UI/UX projects, and a brief note on how you’d approach the AeroSleuth design. We’d love to review sample wireframes or mockups if available. We’re happy to schedule a call to discuss the design guide and answer questions. Thank you for considering this opportunity. We’re excited to partner with a talented designer to bring AeroSleuth’s vision to life!
