Next Gen Math, LLC is an innovative educational software company that provides unlimited Common Core Math resources to educators and students with the goal of increasing Math achievement. We are seeking motivated, reliable, enthusiastic and customer focused trainers to help new subscribers learn to navigate the NextGenMath.com platform. The ideal candidate is energetic, articulate, well presented, able to quickly understand and teach others new applications and is skilled with technology. Applicants must be comfortable with the idea of presenting to large audiences of teachers and administrators in person or online using Zoom. Problem solving skills are a must. This is a seasonal per diem position offering up to 15 hours per week. The per diem trainer role is part of an overall team effort to support the effective implementation and ongoing utilization of www.nextgenmath.com. The role requires providing training and ongoing support to potential and existing customers. Duties include, but are not limited to: Becoming an experienced user of the NextGenMath.com platform Conducting engaging and interactive professional development Responding to customer support questions in real time Successfully applying adult learning theory to presentations and training Supporting subscribers with software applications Presenting training material in an energetic and engaging format Administering session surveys and responding to feedback and suggestions Debriefing session glows and grows with training coordinator Communicating user requests to the training coordinator Collaborating with the team on how to improve the platform Assisting with unexpected projects Other duties as assigned Skills Experience leading Zoom meetings while responding to questions in the chat Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively to large groups Adept at quickly learn new technologies and applications A thorough knowledge of of G Suite for Workplace Ability to listen carefully and problem solve in real time Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Teaching or administrative experience Additional Information $25.00 per hour is the regular rate while participating in any training sessions to learn a new topic such as Navigating the Platform, Delving Deeper, K-2 Just for You, Countdown to CAASPP etc. Below describes the maximum number of hours paid for learning a new training. Max Training Prep Hours for Learning Navigating the Platform: 20 hours Max Training Prep Hours to learn Delving Deeper: 6 hours Max Training Prep Hours to learn Daily Check Ins: 6 hours Max Training Prep Hours to learn Blueprint Training: 8 hours Max Training Prep Hours to learn I Have My Data. . . Now What?: 5 Hours Max Training Prep Hours to learn K-2 Just for You: 8 Hours Rate of Pay for Training SessionsEntry Level (Tier 0) Trainers: $25.00 an hour for the regular rate to become a certified NextGenMath.com Professional Development Provider Training Program. The company provides the training. Tier 1 Trainers: $50.00 an hour received for conducting professional development from the Tier 0 Topic. A minimum of two hours is paid for all sessions. This allows for trainers 15 minutes to set up prior to the training and 15 minutes to stay after the training. A Tier 1 trainer must: Complete and Pass the requirements for Company Professional Development Provider Tier 0 Training Program and; Demonstrate the ability to provide an entire professional development session with another team member supporting and; Possess a bachelor's degree or higher Preferred: Multiple subject teaching credential or math credential for middle or junior high school.
