Part-Time B2B Sales Development Representative
Job Overview: We’re looking for a talented Veterinary Outreach Specialist to connect with veterinary clinics across the U.S., build client relationships, and generate interest in Petex’s at-home sample collection kits. This role involves following up with clinics that have already shown interest, as well as introducing our product to new practices. Your work will be essential in helping veterinary clinics streamline diagnostics and improve patient care. Deliverables and Expectations Weekly Goals: Make 30–50 calls over 4 hours each week, averaging 10–15 calls per hour. Conversion Goals: Schedule at least 2 meetings or demos with practices each week and convert at least one engaged clinic into a customer trial. CRM Tracking: Record all interactions, feedback, and outcomes in our CRM for efficient follow-up and client management. Optional In-Person Visits: If located near target clinics, you may have opportunities to conduct live demos, with additional compensation and mileage reimbursement. Key Skills Required Communication: You’re personable and professional, with a strong phone presence and the ability to explain product benefits clearly. Sales/Customer Service: You have experience in B2B sales or customer support, with a talent for guiding conversations to positive outcomes. Organization: You can manage your time independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently achieve weekly goals in a remote setting. CRM Proficiency: You have experience with CRM tools like Apollo, Salesforce, or HubSpot for managing leads and logging interactions. Preferred (but Not Required) Skills Veterinary Knowledge: Familiarity with veterinary workflows or previous experience in animal health (e.g., vet tech or receptionist) is a plus, helping you better understand clinic needs and challenges.
