App Beta Tester in Hawaii – Explore & Test a Location-Based Game! Job Description: We’re looking for a reliable App Beta Tester located in Hawaii to help us test a new mobile game inspired by Pokémon Go! In this game, players explore real-world locations across the Hawaiian Islands to “capture” a character from an upcoming film. You’ll be our on-the-ground tester, making sure everything runs smoothly and helping us fine-tune the player experience. This is a fun, active opportunity perfect for someone who loves exploring Hawaii, enjoys mobile gaming, and is tech-savvy with a keen eye for detail. ________________________________________ Project Details: • Dates: April 24 – May 2nd • Rate: Please include your daily rate in your proposal and factor in your own travels costs to each island and location • Location: Hawaiian Islands – visits to 30-40 specific locations spread across 6 islands ________________________________________ Your Responsibilities: • Visit each assigned location on the island(s) • Open and use our beta app at each spot • Test core game features (e.g., location detection, character capture, logbook updates) • Report any bugs or issues in real time • Take 1-2 clear photos at each location (for documentation and visual reference) • Provide brief daily feedback on your experience ________________________________________ Requirements: • Must be physically located in Hawaii during the testing period • Must have access to a reliable, up-to-date smartphone (iOS or Android) • Experience in beta testing mobile apps is a big plus • Strong attention to detail and reliable communication • Comfortable traveling to multiple locations in a day ________________________________________ To Apply: Please include the following in your proposal: • Your island location • A brief description of your relevant experience • Your daily rate (you will cover your own transportation costs so please consider that in your day rate!) • Your phone model and OS version • Confirm that you're available between April 24 – May 2nd
