Content Designer
We're looking for a Visual Content Designer or Research Communications Specialist with strong skills in information design and visual storytelling to support the design and layout of a national benchmarking report for a professional audience. The writing and core content structure will be co-created with the Content Lead. The ideal candidate will bring the material to life through clear visual organization, strategic layout, intuitive navigation, and engaging charts, graphics, and callouts that make key findings easily accessible to executive readers. Translating structured research content into clear, audience-friendly visual layouts and page designs. Designing or guiding the creation of infographics, simple charts, and visual summaries that reinforce key insights. Structuring the report to surface high-value executive takeaways early, while allowing for deeper exploration. Enhancing navigation and scanability through visual hierarchy, page structure, and strategic breakouts Applying consistent, professional visual styling aligned to an executive audience. Improving the data visualization within the survey Collaborating closely with the content lead to align visuals with messaging and tone. Managing design production to final delivery-ready files (PDF or digital-first format preferred). Ideal candidates will have: * 7 years of content design experience with a strong portfolio of research reports, white papers, or benchmarking studies designed for executive or professional audiences. * Expertise in information design, visual hierarchy, and storytelling through layout. *Proficiency with layout and design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Figma, Canva Pro, or similar). *Ability to create or edit simple charts, graphs, and infographics. *Understanding of how to organize research findings for executive accessibility (prior experience with survey or benchmarking data a plus). *Experience working collaboratively with researchers, writers, and data teams. Full time (36/h/w) starting aprox mid May through end of May.
