Storyboard Developer/Instructional Designer
We’re looking for a contractor to support the development of short, engaging learning experiences for culinary skills training. This role involves reviewing video demonstrations and creating storyboards to be built in Articulate Rise. The contractor will analyze each culinary skill demonstrated in the video, break it down into clear and easy-to-follow steps, and structure the content into a digestible micro-lesson. The goal is to transform each video into an interactive learning experience by identifying key learning points, writing short instructional text, and suggesting opportunities for knowledge checks or learner interaction. Key Responsibilities: Watch and analyze video demonstrations of core culinary skills Identify critical steps, quality indicators, and tips Write simple, clear instructional text suitable for an 8th-grade reading level Create a storyboard that outlines how the lesson will be presented in Articulate Rise Recommend interactive elements to reinforce learning Ideal Qualifications: Experience with instructional design or content development Familiarity with Articulate Rise or e-learning formats Ability to translate real-world tasks into engaging learning moments Clear, concise writing style and strong attention to detail
