Hot Tub Area Landscape Design
I'm looking for design ideas for an outdoor space primarily for the addition of a hot tub to our backyard. Photos of the space are attached. We would like to put a 6 person hot tub in this space. I would like to install pex tubing in the slab and sidewalk for snow melt and heating of the area to keep people feet warm year round. This would be connected to outdoor wood fired boiler. I don't yet have the boiler but plan on installing one to heat this and to provide auxillary heat for the house and garage. We would also like to incorporate a sauna. The sauna should incorporate a wood burning sauna heater. The sauna could prefabricated or custom built. nootkasaunas.com Possibly the 10' barrel sauna. We would also like to make an outdoor toilet (plumbed) with an attached outdoor shower (on the back?) out of an old outhouse that we have. Pictures of the outhouse are attached. Dimensions oare 63"x58" Seating of some sort. We'd like a slightly tropical feel by incorporating living or fake bamboo or other similar plants fused with moutain living type design. Keep in mind this is in Nebraska, so plants would need to be climate zone appropriate or annuals. We will likely be doing a large part of the construction ourselves. Our skillset includes light general construction, electrical, and plumbing.
