Product Sourcing-US Broker/Agent (for US Suppliers/ Stateside 3PL & Warehouses only)
www.fe-faith.com We (FE Faith) are looking for a source-to-contract/pay experienced candidate to be our product agent with US suppliers, 3PL/stateside warehouses, and/or vendors. The scope of tasks includes negotiating favorable terms for our current 10-30 MOQ dropshipping model. We need sourced 4 primary product collections, 4 support product collections, and 1 backup supplier sourced for each = 16 collections. Quick transition to white/private label is anticipated and should be discussed. (Canada may be fine if product delivery can arrive to customers in 5 business days or less) The collections are: 1. Level 2 EV chargers- (NEMA 14-50, and 6-50), 2. Solar Panels Kits- 350 watts -5000 watts 3. 3D Printers- Small/Medium (a few large) 4. Atmospheric Water Generators (AWG). 10L- 1500L Agent will be required to confirm battery type and Wh rating (regarding solar panels/ kits) with suppliers/vendors. It will fall under the agents responsibilty to ensure that all suppliers/vendors send over a MSDS' or battery specific sheets for dangerous goods in order that we are compliant for our carriers, UPS, and FedEx. Verification of battery compliant packaging and use of UN3480/3481 stickers will also need to be completed. It will be the agents responsibilty to collect and provide contacts for vendors/suppliers/wholesalers, including any phone, email, and address, name of the company, and extentions/points of contact (sales mangers, account managers, operating managers, wholesalers/B2B managers, owners, etc.). Payment Terms – Aim for Net 30, Net 60, or even Net 90s- that will help to improve our cash flow. 4.* Currency & Exchange Rates – If dealing with international suppliers, clarify how fluctuations will be handled. (*US only for the moment) 5. Hidden Fees – Ask about extra costs (customs, handling fees, storage, etc.). Shipping & Lead Times 6. Delivery Speed – Ensure they meet our 2-5 business day shipping requirement. 7. Shipping Costs – Negotiate better rates or free shipping for bulk orders (LTL will be 50%+ of our orders). 8. Backup Plans – Have alternatives if they delay or fail to deliver for each supplier. 9. Warehousing Options – Check and confirm which suppliers offer warehousing and fulfillment services. Product Quality & Consistency 10. Sample Testing – Request samples before committing to bulk orders. 11. Quality Control – Define strict standards and penalties for defective products. 12. Return & Refund Policies – Ensure clear policies for returns or damaged goods. 13. Product Customization –For long-term branding/private label, ensure they can add our logo/packaging. Contract & Legal Protections 14. Exclusivity Agreements – Prevent vendors from selling our product to competitors. 15. Confidentiality – Protect our designs, branding, and business strategies. 16.
