Role Overview Mindracer Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Development/Sales Trainer & Coach with deep expertise in developing sales and business development skills for leaders and teams in B2B services businesses. This contract role is designed for someone who excels in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs and providing personalized coaching to elevate sales performance in boutique consulting firms and similar professional services organizations. You'll be responsible for creating and implementing tailored sales training modules, delivering hands-on coaching sessions, and providing strategic guidance to help our clients build high-performing sales cultures. You'll serve as both educator and mentor—ensuring teams not only understand sales best practices but can apply them effectively to drive measurable revenue growth. Typical Responsibilities (dependent on client scope) Design and deliver comprehensive sales and business development training programs tailored to the specific needs of B2B services businesses, particularly consulting firms Develop and implement skills programs based on agreed-upon go-to-market strategies, focusing on sales prospecting, methodology, account planning, and upsell/cross-sell techniques Conduct regular call reviews using clients' recording platforms to provide structured guidance on improving prospect and client interactions Provide one-on-one coaching to help team members overcome individual blockers related to new business and upsell calls Deliver team training sessions based on observed trends in recorded calls and identified skill gaps Host weekly office hours coaching calls for team members seeking additional support Create and update training modules based on emerging needs and best practices in B2B services sales Provide unlimited email support to address questions and challenges as they arise Partner closely with client leadership to ensure alignment with growth objectives and track progress against key performance indicators Report on training effectiveness, skill development progress, and resulting revenue impact to Mindracer leadership and client stakeholders Identify and share best practices across the portfolio of client engagements to continuously improve training outcomes Compensation Competitive compensation, recognizing the significant impact of your expertise Ideal Candidate 5+ years of experience in sales training and coaching with demonstrated success in B2B services environments, particularly consulting or professional services firms Deep understanding of B2B sales methodologies, consultative selling approaches, and revenue generation strategies for service businesses Experience designing and delivering training programs across the full sales cycle, from prospecting to account expansion Proven track record of improving sales team performance and driving measurable revenue growth through training and coaching initiatives Strong familiarity with modern sales technologies, CRM systems, and call recording platforms HubSpot sales tool certifications preferred Experience in developing customized training content tailored to specific business challenges and market conditions Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams at all levels Coaching approach that balances empathy with accountability to drive real behavior change Calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and highly attuned to individual learning styles and team dynamics Comfortable being both a supportive mentor and performance-focused coach—someone who can deliver candid feedback with clarity and care Ability to translate complex sales concepts into actionable, practical techniques that can be immediately applied Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and connect skill development to revenue outcomes Why Mindracer Consulting?
