Bookkeeper for Small Retail Business (Ongoing Support)

We’re seeking someone detail-oriented and reliable who can provide ongoing support in the following areas: Responsibilities: • Run biweekly payroll via Gusto (2–3 employees) • Track income and expenses in QuickBooks • Categorize and reconcile transactions monthly • Manage and pay vendor bills • Handle state and federal tax filings (sales tax, 1099s, etc.) • Provide basic financial reports as needed Qualifications: • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Gusto • Knowledge of small business tax obligations (especially in Rhode Island, a plus!) • Strong attention to detail and clear communication • Availability for ongoing, part-time work (est. 5–10 hours/month) We’re a small but growing business, and we’re looking for a partner who’s excited to support us as we grow!
