Job Description We're looking for a seasoned PR professional or media strategist to help secure earned media placements for our platform, www.blossoms.app ahead of Earth Day (April 22). About Blossoms: Blossoms is a mission-driven platform where families give and receive free kids' clothes to reduce waste, save money, and reconnect with community. Over 350 families have already joined. Our goal is to make starting a family more sustainable, more social, and more accessible — especially for those who need it most. We do this by rewarding reuse and gamifying giving. We're tackling clothing waste, fast fashion, and parental isolation — all through a circular, community-powered model. What we need: We're looking for earned press coverage in top-tier publications that cover: Sustainability / Climate Parenting & family life Emerging tech or tech-for-good Ideal outlets include: Fast Company, Parents, Forbes, TechCrunch, Bloomberg, Axios, The Verge, NYT Parenting, and other respected digital or print publications. About You: You have existing relationships with journalists or editors at Tier 1 or Tier 2 publications You have experience landing meaningful, earned media — not paid placements You know how to craft story angles that resonate with editors and align with cultural moments like Earth Day You’ve worked with early-stage, mission-led startups (bonus if in sustainability or family spaces) You’re collaborative, communicative, and can move fast Scope & Timeline: Small, focused project: 1–2 weeks of pitching and outreach Goal: Land meaningful press coverage ahead of Earth Day (April 22) If it’s a fit, this could turn into a longer-term role To apply, please include: Your LinkedIn Examples of earned press you've secured (links or stories) A quick sentence or two on how you'd approach Blossoms' story What outlets you'd most likely target Availability between now and April 22
