Improve setup of Synology NAS 920+

I am sole user of Synology 920+ 4 drive NAS. I use laptop and Android for access, often remote. Need to set up or improve: laptop backup, sync some folders with G Drive, sync with iDrive, view photos & videos remotely, etc. I'm okay, just need help improving ... I imagine an hour or so of your time is what is needed. You should be capable and experienced with many features of Synology DSM and third party apps.
