We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for writing compelling social media copy, creating clear direction for graphics and video assets, and managing the scheduling and publishing of posts across various client accounts. This is a hybrid position — candidates must be available to work from our Oxford, MI office part of the week. Key Responsibilities: Write engaging, on-brand social media copy for a variety of clients and platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and others as needed) Develop and communicate creative direction for graphics and video assets to our design team and/or freelancers Maintain content calendars for client accounts Schedule and publish social media posts using scheduling tools (like Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, etc.) Collaborate with account managers and designers to align social content with client goals and campaigns Track and organize posts, approvals, and publishing deadlines to ensure smooth, on-time execution Stay current on social media trends and best practices to recommend fresh ideas and approaches What We’re Looking For: 1-3 years of social media marketing experience (agency experience a plus) Strong copywriting skills with a knack for writing in different brand voices Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools Ability to translate creative ideas into clear, actionable direction for design and video creation Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
