About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced civil engineer to support the development of a small residential project involving three new single-family homes in Los Angeles. This is a part-time or consulting opportunity ideal for someone with experience navigating permitting, grading plans, and site development for infill projects. Responsibilities: - Review and update existing site surveys - Create grading and drainage plans compliant with city standards - Coordinate with architectural and structural teams - Assist with utility planning and city approvals - Serve as a point of contact for city inspectors and plan checkers - Provide technical guidance on site development and feasibility Qualifications: - PE license - Proven experience in residential or small-scale development projects - Familiarity with LA City building codes, zoning, and permitting - Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and basic GIS tools - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently - Reliable, and able to execute the project in three months To Apply: Please share your resume, portfolio or examples of past work, availability, and standard hourly or project-based rates.
