Civil Engineer Needed (SC Licensed) – Site Plan for 18-Site Mini-Resort in Hilly Terrain. Plus, Six .5 AC house sites. Description: 1: Update current plat to change road and move to 18 locations in RV/Cottage zone. 2: Create new lines for the North side for three .5 acre. 3: Create new lines for three .5 acres on the West side highest location. Designed to minimize environmental impact and support sustainable growth Supports community development while maintaining the character of the area We’re developing 18-site mini-resort on hilly terrain in South Carolina and need a licensed civil engineer familiar with local regulations and permitting requirements. This is a ground-up development that requires a full civil site plan, including a new access road from a 40 MPH main road. You’ll work closely with our team to help bring the vision to life in a compliant, buildable, and cost-effective way. Key Responsibilities: Stormwater management and drainage design (per SC DHEC requirements) Utility coordination: water, sewer/septic, electric, internet Erosion control, SWPPP, and environmental impact mitigation Prepare stamped plan sets for permits and approvals Requirements: Licensed Civil Engineer in the state of South Carolina (PE required) Experience designing resort, campground, or residential developments in sloped terrain Proficient with CAD, grading plans, and stormwater modeling Familiar with SC DHEC, local zoning, and SC DOT permitting processes Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams Preferred: Experience with septic design and land planning for hospitality properties Knowledge of accessibility requirements (ADA), emergency vehicle access, and fire code Please include relevant samples of past site plans, your availability, and your estimated project timeline in your
