Full-Service Architect Needed for Multi-Structure Family Compound (WA State - Permit Ready)

We’re building a multi-structure family compound on 2–5 acres in Snohomish or Skagit County, WA, and are seeking an experienced U.S.-based architect or architectural firm who can deliver permit-ready drawings, hybrid utility site planning, and structural documentation — while collaborating with our builder using the Builder Brigade Home Checklist Guide. This project includes: • A primary residence (~3,000 sq ft) • An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU ~1,200 sq ft) • A detached garage/shop (~600–800 sq ft) • Hybrid utility site planning for both off-grid and on-grid compatibility, including: • Septic + optional city sewer hookup • Private well + optional city water • Solar panel layout + grid power • Agricultural zones (chickens, garden, possible livestock) ⸻ You should have experience with: • Washington State residential codes and permitting • County-level zoning (Snohomish/Skagit strongly preferred) • ADU and multi-structure residential layouts • Coordinating hybrid utilities and backup systems • Drafting full permit sets (site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections) • Optional: 3D architectural renderings for family visualization • Willingness to collaborate using the Builder Brigade Home Checklist Guide ⸻ Project Phases: 1.
