Overview: We are seeking an experienced Shopify eCommerce expert to conduct a comprehensive review of our website and recommend strategic improvements to boost sales and conversions. This is a contract/freelance role, ideal for someone who specializes in optimizing the user experience, analyzing sales funnels, and implementing best practices in eCommerce design and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a full audit of our Shopify website (UX/UI, layout, product pages, checkout process, etc.) Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and conversion funnels Identify bottlenecks, friction points, and opportunities for improvement Recommend and help implement changes to: Improve navigation and product discovery Optimize product pages for better engagement and conversion Streamline the checkout process Increase mobile responsiveness and load speed Enhance trust elements (reviews, badges, return policies) Optimize for SEO and page performance Provide A/B testing ideas or assist in running conversion experiments Deliver a final report with actionable recommendations and a prioritized roadmap Qualifications: Proven experience with Shopify store optimization and conversion rate improvement Strong understanding of eCommerce UX, UI, SEO, and CRO best practices Proficient in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify reports, and heatmapping tools (e.g. Hotjar, Lucky Orange) Excellent communication and reporting skills Bonus: experience with Shopify apps and custom code tweaks Project Scope: One-time website review and optimization project (with potential for ongoing consulting) Expected completion: 3 weeks To Apply: Please share examples of Shopify stores you’ve helped improve, metrics you’ve influenced (e.g. lift in conversions), and your general approach to CRO for eCommerce.
