I'm looking for a skilled developer (or small team) to build a web-based software that will replicate and improve upon the internal system used by my company to manage mail-based workflows, marketing attribution, and package receiving operations. The intention is to build a product that can then be licensed to other companies as well. I'm not a technical person, so I'm looking for someone who can not just build, but also guide the project and recommend the best technologies to use. The platform should include: Lead Management: - New incoming lead forms generate queue items outbound shipping. - Automatically generate shipping labels (outbound and return) based on queue items. - Assign these to a daily batch to be printed each morning. Marketing Analytics: - Ability to generate unique affiliate/campaign links for marketing partners. - Track performance by source (Facebook ads, Google ads, etc.). - View return rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-lead across different channels. Package Intake UI: - Internal dashboard for warehouse workers receiving incoming packages. - Workers should be able to look up or scan incoming packages, verify contents, and create POs (Purchase Orders) for accounting and payout purposes. Admin Dashboard: - Manage users and worker permissions. - View high-level and detailed stats on workflow volumes and marketing ROI. Inventory Management: - Maintain a dashboard that relies on products in/out to accurately reflect available inventory an generate product offers to wholesale customer. Ideal skills and experience include: - Building full-stack web applications (backend + frontend). - Familiarity with generating and integrating shipping labels (UPS, FedEx APIs, etc.). - Experience with analytics tracking (basic marketing attribution, link generation, reporting dashboards). - Database design (preferably with scalability in mind). - UX/UI design for internal tools (making dashboards simple and worker-friendly). - Ability to recommend best practices for security, speed, and reliability. - Familiarity with SaaS architecture if we want to eventually have multiple clients use this on their own accounts. - Good communication skills — ability to work with a non-technical founder. Tech Stack: I'm open to your recommendation, but it should be based on widely used, well-supported frameworks that make future maintenance easy. There is potential for a long-term arrangement for support, or perhaps more interestingly for the right entrepreneurial-minded candidate - a business partnership.
